Macro Regime The Risk-Off label reflects a risk appetite factor of -0.9557, the most negative component, with growth at -0.4576 and volatility at -0.3956 reinforcing the defensive posture. Liquidity at +0.0761 is the only positive factor and too small to offset the other three. Elevated BIS debt service ratios in Brazil (29%) and Canada (25%) raise sensitivity to the 4.80% 10-year Treasury yield and 271bps high-yield spread. Market Context Treasury yields sit at 4.80% on the 10-year and 4.39% on the 2-year, a +41bps slope. Breakevens at 2.37% and 30-year mortgage rates at 6.76% keep financing costs elevated. High-yield OAS is 271bps and investment-grade OAS is 81bps. Financial conditions remain loose with NFCI at -0.5640, the Fed balance sheet at $6,737,204M, and reverse repo at $4.7360T. Watch The US Inflation Rate MoM on 2026-09-11 at 12:30 UTC, forecast 0.4 versus prior 0.1, is the key event.

Correction (Phase 623, 2026-09-27): this note gave the Federal Reserve's overnight reverse repo (ON RRP) usage as $4.7360T. The source series, FRED RRPONTSYD, is published in billions of dollars, so the correct figure for this date is $4.74 billion. The stated figure was 1,000 times too large.
